Now the solution isn't to remove the tank mods but to change how the mods work. Everyone is going to run the tank mods once they have enough reputation for it. Now the problem is that you can get the same speed as before the bullet jump nerf by sliding, double jump, then rolling (maybe even faster), and that movement is not effected by these new mods.
Currently how the new bullet jump mods work is that you give a little of your HP or shields and armor in favor of extra bullet jump speed and distance or gain HP or shields and armor with the 'penalty' of less bullet jump speed and distance.
